Communities In Schools of South Central Texas has helped over 3,000 children stay in school and prepare for life in Comal and Guadalupe Counties. Communities In Schools of South Central Texas, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. Our funding from the State Legislature of Texas comprises less than 50% of the total cost of the program. School district contracts account for another approximately 34%. The remainder comes from fundraising efforts, grants, donations, foundation support, and local support from individuals and businesses. We need your help to keep children off the streets and on the road to educational success.
